Brackla Harriers running club is based at Bridgend Tennis & Squash Club and welcomes runners of all abilities. We’ve a range of facilities including changing areas, hot showers, safe storage and a bar for those all important post run refreshments.
If you’re thinking about joining a running club then why not come along to one of our training sessions? You’ll meet our members and can have your first few runs without obligation to join. With the wide variety of running abilities at the club we’re sure there’ll be a place and pace for YOU!
Tuesday runs are Efforts sessions in which two of them are hills and the other two are flat sprints.
Thursday runs are a longer tempo run, ranging from 6.5 miles to 8 miles.
We can also do shorter run on Thursdays of approx 5-6 miles if needed, please ask one of the members about this at the training session you are coming to.
On a Thursday we have two start times 6:40pm for those runners who’d complete a 5k / parkrun in 27 minutes or over and a 7pm start for those running sub 27 minutes. Both groups have the option to run the full distance or cutting it shorter.
Sunday runs are decided during the week and depend upon races occurring and regular re-grouping takes place.
